What a great place? Cozy, clean, quiet what more could we ask for? Great golf at Huron Breeze
good food at Rainbow and Northwood Steak house - friendly people in town at the antique shops.
Lots of deer on the back roads! Everything we needed was right here in our little cottage.
Hope to see you next year with the kids! Thanks, Scott & Leigh - Sue Ontario, Canada

Even though we're 28, 26, and 24 now, Mom and Dad insist on taking us on our world-famous family vacations.
I'm so glad we found this place. Michigan is so blessed to have beaches like this one. We rented cabins 4 and 5 and spend the
weekend here, 3 hours from home but a world away for the hustle and bustle. For a change,
we all got along perfectly with no spats. Guess this place just inspires peace and quiet. It's nice. Dad loved,
looking at the nighttime stars and seeing the big freighters go by with their night lights on. I loved your
fluffy little dog even though it took a whiz on my car tires. All is forgiven. And it is a blessing in
disguise that our cell phones have no signal here- a true getaway!
We loved visiting Tawas where the Fine Art Fair was happening, and even as adults we loved the playground with
the seagull slide. May I also recommend the Saturday Farmers Market in Tawas. Best blueberries ever. But I think
the highlight overall was the opportunity to leave our mark by making an addition to the painted rock garden - wading
in Lake Huron to find the perfect rock, letting it dry in the sun, and sitting with my sisters and mom for an hour or two
letting the artistry "come to us". It was relaxing and fantastic.
You guys are so great to provide paints and this opportunity. Simple yet completely satisfying entertainment. How nice
it was to kick back with a pink wine cooler (or a bottle of Bell's Overon for
Dad) and take a quick walk to the beach, or to play a game of Trivial Pursuit with my entire family while the Tigers game was on. Parents versus the kids - and the former
won by a landslide, 'cause I swear Dad knows damn near everything. He knew enough to pick this place and bring us
here, and I'm thankful. What a peaceful, pleasant home-away-from-home.
